okay, so people have been going mental over alexander wang's spring 2011 collection. so many expectations after his last two shows, especially spring 2010.
but, for me and i see quite a few others, it just didn't cut it. the collection was just...well...blah.
the colours were dull, the clothes shapeless, the makeup and hair looked like it was trying too hard.
it all just looked a bit safe and easy for wang, who usually pushes it a lot lot more.
i don't know what i expected, but unfortunatly this just wasn't it.
don't get me wrong though, this pains me to say so as i adore his previous work! and i still have high hopes for fall 2011.
bring it back, wang!
